Re contextualizing mainstays of our cultural cannon is one of the joys of being a painter. In this piece, I’ve reimagined the cyclops Polyphemus from The Odyssey to fit within a science fiction narrative. Themes of deceit and coalition work their way into 8 different characters. How will the story play out?
